An ultra-Orthodox Jewish man was beaten in the streets by at least two people in Brooklyn on Sunday night, reports the Jerusalem Post.
The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is currently investigating the attack as a potential “hate crime”.
The 26-year-old victim was chased by two individuals who beat her with what police described as an “unknown object”, resulting in a laceration to the head and requiring her immediate hospitalization.
In the video relayed on social networks, a witness claims that the attackers beat the victim with sticks.
“It doesn’t stop,” tweeted New York City Councilor Kalman Yeger.
The individuals have still not been identified.
