The government on Thursday, January 6, determined Covid-19 primary vaccination certificates expire five months after receiving Janssen and nine months after receiving vaccines from other approved manufacturers. However, a certificate for primary vaccination against Covid-19 will still be valid for full-time work.
The conditions for the validity of the vaccination certificate for entry into Latvia come into force on February 1, for use within the country – on February 15. As no vaccine is currently available for children under the age of 18, the certificate will not be extended to children.
