BAMBLE: On Thursday morning, Vidar Tellefsen announced another new player that will establish itself in the business area on Langrønningen.

The electricity giant Elkjøp is the latest new signing at Langrønningen. Internally in Elkjøp, it has been known for a while, but it is only now that it is all announced.
The news comes after several other major players have been announced in recent months. Among them Thansen and Jysk. Biltema has already been established and Megaflis is in the process of building a new large store in the area.
It is only a short time since Byggmax also confirmed that they will establish themselves in the new business area along the E18 in Bamble.
– Finally, we can confirm that Elkjøp will come to Langrønningen. Now we are starting to get many good and large national players to Langrønningen. This will be incredibly good, Tellefsen writes in a message posted on social media.
– Complete business area
Tellefsen is seriously beginning to see the contours of what he describes as a complete business area.
The plot Elkjøp will be owned by Hibernien Eiendom, the real estate company of Megaflis founder Sondre Lindgren. He has now bought as many as 50 goals in the business area and signals with great faith in the development here. The last contract with Lindgren was signed on New Year’s Day, Tellefsen states.
– Some players will build and own the buildings themselves, while others prefer rent. There are now good opportunities for both, says Tellefsen.
Tellefsen states that the Elkjøp store to be built will be one of the largest in Norway.
– The plan is for them to be in by Easter 2023. The same applies to the other players on the site. Cabin people and others then get most of what they need here with us, he says.
In the zoning plan for Langrønningen, goods are opened up to car, boats, agricultural machinery, lumber and major building materials, as well as sales from garden centers and nurseries.
Tellefsen is confident that Elkjøp will embrace the regulation provision.
– Electricity purchases are large in the kitchen and there will also be a large kitchen department here. I have had a round with the municipality also in advance, he says.
– This clearly falls under what you can have here. And why should Bamble not also be able to have an offer like this, like other municipalities? Thousands of residents and cabin people now do not have to drive up to Porsgrunn and Kjørbekk. It is a win-win, says Tellefsen.
