China Shares Photo of Planet Mars from Tianwen 1 Mission, View of the Barren Plain

KEBUMEN TALK – China National Space Administration (China National Space Administration)CNSA) submitted four photos of the planet Mars.

The photo, sent by researchers on Saturday, December 31, 2021, taken by Tianwen 1 Mars, includes the first full photo of the mission’s orbiter.

In the picture, the orbit is seen flying around the planet Mars in orbit.

The planetary images of Mars also show a layer of ice at the north pole of Mars and a view of the barren plains of Mars.

Quoted from CNSA, the image was taken by a camera released by the craft which is now about 350 million kilometers from Earth.

Previously, the plane was launched in July 2020 from the Wenchang Space Launch Center in Hainan province.

The satellite has covered a total of 475 million kilometers and performed several trajectory maneuvers before entering Mars orbit on February 10.

After more than three months, a landing capsule released by the vehicle landed on Planet Mars on May 15.
