Dozens of clients had denounced, since the end of 2018, the suspicious behavior of this professional from the agglomeration of Chartres (Eure-et-Loir). The osteopath, who had been practicing for about thirty years, and recently in Coudray was implicated in a case of sexual assault.
Two complaints were lodged in 2018 and then in early 2019 at the Chartres police station, as recalled The Republican Echo after the trial of the accused. The alleged victims reported that they had suffered inappropriate actions by the osteopath.
Other clients had also denounced the behavior of this 52-year-old man.
Intimate photos and videos of clients
During a search, investigators found two cameras and a digital tool that stored hundreds of intimate snapshots of the women he received in his office. At the bar, he defended himself by ensuring that these photos and videos had a professional purpose, and justified the sexual assaults denounced as gynecological manipulations.
However, as reported by our colleagues, osteopaths are prohibited from performing this type of medical act.
The defendant was sentenced to three years in prison, including one year firm. He is prohibited from exercising the profession of osteopath for life or any other profession in the medical or paramedical field.
