TIMESINDONESIA, PONOROGO – Ponorogo DPRD reminded the Regent of Ponorogo to immediately take steps to deal with the attack dengue fever dengue (DHF) which began to hit a number of areas in Ponorogo.
This was conveyed by the Chairman of the DPRD, Sunarto, because his party did not want the Extraordinary Event (KLB) of dengue fever to repeat itself like three years ago.
“Moreover, in the last few days there have been reports that almost all hospitals in Ponorogo are overloaded with dengue fever patients,” said Sunarto, Wednesday (5/1/2022).
Sunarto also explained that at this time residents were starting to get restless and in some places people chose to do fogging independently.
“The information I received from the three residents proposed fogging that many requirements had to be met and the procedure was complicated. This must be an evaluation so that services to the community are better,” he said.
The DPRD is also not sure that the stock of malathion in the Health Service is running low. “I hope the Regent cross-checks the truth of the news,” said Sunarto.
He also added that when residents are enthusiastic and have the initiative to handle and control dengue fever independently, “they should have support from the Regional Government. The Ponorogo Regency Government should not appear silent without any real movement,” said the chairman. Ponorogo DPRD, Sunarto.
