PALMA, 4 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Palma City Council, through the Infrastructure and Accessibility area, has organized an urban art workshop this Sunday in Sa Riera.
As reported by the Palma City Council in a press release, the Infrastructure and Accessibility area has organized this Sunday in the Sa Riera Park an urban art workshop for all ages that will be directed by the artists Durban, Sone and others and enlivened by DJ Manu C.
With this workshop, the new ephemeral urban art space that has been created in the Sa Riera park will be unveiled, which aims to help prevent the proliferation of vandalism graffiti in Palma and is integrated into the action plan against graffiti of the townhall. The Infrastructure and Accessibility area will provide the sprays and other materials necessary to carry out this activity.
Next to the Sa Riera amphitheater, murals have been created where it will be allowed to make paintings, which will be maintained for a period of time and later removed.
The ephemeral art murals are part of the set of improvements that have been made in the park thanks to the park renovation plan.
BEAUTIFUL OF SPACES IN PERE GARAU
It should be remembered that throughout this month of December the Infrastructure and Accessibility area, led by the artist Durban, has carried out up to 10 interventions to beautify spaces such as light booths, which were often vandalized.
In this sense, the Deputy Mayor for Infrastructure and Accessibility, Angélica Pastor, has appealed to the youngest to choose to enter the law and follow the path of urban artists like Durban.
“This workshop aims to publicize this space, to be a place where young people can express their creativity and, at the same time, learn about the experience of leaders such as Durban,” said the councilor.
