“Dealer” receives a record number of nominations (14) for the Ensors, the most important Flemish film and television awards

The presentation of the Ensors should have taken place on January 29 during the Ostend Film Festival, but the Consultation Committee decided on December 22 that cinemas, theater and concert halls should be closed. Due to the stricter corona measures, the Ostend Film Festival, which was planned from 21 to 29 January, could not continue.

The Council of State has meanwhile suspended the decision of the Consultation Committee, but the advancing omikron variant is causing too many uncertainties, so that the Board of Directors of the film festival is still sticking to the decision to postpone the festival to the beginning of March.
