Mexican oil (Pemex) announced that this year the number of studies free of mammograms in the localities where it carries out its oil activities.
In a statement, the productive company explained that 4,024 were carried out in 2021 studies free early detection of breast cancer, through the work program of the Mobile Medical Unit (UMM).
He argued that this program, last year represented an investment of 5.2 million pesos, where they worked with the State Coordination of Breast Cancer, the health jurisdictions and the municipal authorities of several municipalities.
Pemex He specified that, from October to December, the Mobile Medical Unit for Mastography visited Huimanguillo, Cárdenas, Cunduacán, Comalcalco, Paraíso, Jalpa, Nacajuca, Centro and Macuspana.
Therefore, he pointed out that, due to the good acceptance of the program, PEMEX determined to expand the program to 4 thousand studies additional mammography tests, which will begin to be performed as of January 10 of this year, in 23 localities and municipalities determined by the state health authority.
