(Boursier.com) – Given its activity, Televerbier generates around 90% of its turnover in the first half of the year. The second semester is mainly devoted to maintenance and investment work. Consequently, the activity for the second half of 2020/2021 amounts to 6.7 MCHF (6.2 ME), or 14% of the cumulative annual turnover (5.8 MCHF or 5.4 ME for the same period of 2019/2020). The 15% increase in turnover for the period is due both to the growth in transport and catering activities during the summer season, but also to the contribution of the new accommodation sector.
The 2020-2021 winter season began on Friday October 31, 2020 and ended on Sunday April 18, 2021. The season was strongly marked by the global crisis linked to the COVID-19 pandemic. The ski areas were certainly able to open, but with strict protection measures. Foreign customers were much less present than usual. The overall turnover amounted to 47.5 MCHF for the financial year 2020/2021 (49.4 ME), or 43.7 MCHF or 46.1 ME for the fiscal year 2019/2020.
