The past 2021 was one of the worst for Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II, according to an analysis by Sky News, quoted by BNR.
“A terrible year” – so Elizabeth II called 1992 because of the complicated love life of her children and the fire at Windsor Palace. No one has said anything about 2021 yet, but it is undoubtedly one of the most dramatic years for the royal family and the queen personally, according to Sky News.
Elizabeth II lost her husband Prince Philip. He died on April 9 at the age of 99. It was a great blow to the Queen, who had been married to the Duke of Edinburgh for 74 years.
However, the loss of her humorous companion, Elizabeth II, was followed by an interview with her grandson, Prince Harry’s wife Megan Markle, about Oprah Winfrey, who accused the royal family of racism against her, and the case against her son Prince Andrew for compensation on sexual assault charges, which he denies.
Although Elizabeth II is generally in good health for 95 years, for the first time in the past year she has canceled her commitments several times, including attending the Glasgow Climate Conference, and even spent days in hospital, albeit only as preventive measure.
In the end, the analysis ends optimistically with a look at the new 2022, in which the queen will mark an unprecedented event – a platinum anniversary as monarch, 70 years on the throne.
