As reported by the chef McGrady, as regards the evening a buffet is organized with many different dishes: from roasted meats to cooked fish and vegetables, to finish with ginger biscuits and then again the Christmas Pudding. Finally, the potted shrimp, a sort of butter flavored with prawns, beef (or venison) Bourgignon, sautéed Brussels sprouts with onion and bacon, some mashed potatoes enriched with cabbage (this dish is called bubble and squeak) and then a rustic sweet made with apples and dates.
