From Fast and Furiousfranchise is bigger than ever after years of new releases. Where it once started as a movie about a bunch of street racers stealing some silly DVDs, today we see Dominic Toretto and his family pull big antics to save the world.
During the shooting of some of those antics, actor clashed Vin Diesel met Dwayne Johnson. That was during the shooting of The Fate of the Furious. The franchise was cut in half afterwards; Diesel continued with Fast & Furious 9 and Johnson made the spin-off franchise Hobbs & Shaw.

But after Vin Diesel made a pretty bizarre public call on Instagram for Johnson to sign for the last two films (“do it for the fans”), Johnson resolutely dismisses that.

The fake feud between @TheRock & @vindiesel is the biggest long con I’ve ever seen. You know damn well this was all planned so that when he does show up in the final movie, that it’s super hype.#FastAndFurious
