Group Owner Texmaco, Marimutu Sinivasan sued the Jakarta III State Property and Auction Service Office at the Central Jakarta District Court (PN Jakpus) with case number 820/Pdt.G/2021/PN Jkt.Pst. KPKNL itself is a vertical agency of the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) of the Ministry of Finance.
In the petitum, Sinivasan asked the judge to grant the plaintiff’s claim in its entirety. Thus quoted detik.com from the Case Investigation Information System (SIPP) of the Central Jakarta District Court, Saturday (1/1/2022).
“Declaring the Plaintiff as the legal owner of companies in the Textile, Engineering and Other Investment fields,” reads the petition filed.
He also asked the judge to declare himself the rightful owner of the assets in the form of land and factories, machinery, supporting facilities and infrastructure located in Nolokerto and Sumberejo Villages, Kendal Regency, Central Java, Kiara Payung Village and Gintung Kerta Subdistrict. It is not known what the lawsuit is about. But previously, the Task Force for Handling State Claims for the Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance Fund (BLBI Task Force) confiscated the Group’s collateral assets. Texmaco, one of the debtors of BLBI funds worth Rp 29 trillion.
Texmaco also had an obligation to pay the Letter of Credit (L/C) which was then issued by the government to help the company keep operating. So, the total value of the liabilities that must be settled is Rp. 31,722,860,855,522 and US$3,912,137,145.
The following Texmaco assets were seized:
1. Kadawung Subdistrict (Cipeundeuy Subdistrict), Siluman Subdistrict (Pabuaran Subdistrict), and Karangmukti Subdistrict (Cipeundeuy Subdistrict), Subang Regency, West Java a total of 519 plots of land with an area of 3,333,771 m22. Kelurahan Loji, Kecamatan Pelabuhan Ratu, Kabupaten Sukabumi, West Java a total of 54 plots of land with an area of 1,248,885 m2
3. Kelurahan Bendan, Sapuro, and Krapyak Kidul, Districts of West Pekalongan and East Pekalongan, Pekalongan City, Central Java with 3 plots of land covering an area of 2,956 m2
4. Pesanggrahan Village, Batu District, Batu City, East Java with a total of 10 plots of land covering an area of 83,230 m2
5. Lubuk Kilangan Village, Padang City, West Sumatra with 1 plot of land with an area of 125,360 m2
