Win copies of the comic strip “The hunting accident”

Fauve d’or of the 48th edition of the Angoulême Festival, The Hunting Accident is a first graphic novel with a lively, tortuous design, signed by the Americans David L. Carlson and Landis Blair. Inspired by a true story, this black and white album is set in Chicago in 1959, where a little boy finds himself living with his father after the death of his mother. The latter lives in a barely furnished room, with books and a typewriter, and he is blind. While his son asks him about his blindness, the father tells him the story of a hunting party with friends, as a teenager, which would have turned out badly. Until Charlie finds out the true version of this story …

Influenced by the dark and expressionist universe of Dante, The Hunting Accident is also an ode to the powers of storytelling and literature, capable of leading to redemption.
