In New York, Ukraine. Guide to an unexpected city, photographer Niels Ackermann and journalist Sébastien Gobert tell us an astonishing story, that of a Ukrainian town called New York. Its inhabitants fought for it to regain its original name. It has been done since July 2021. Ukrainian New York located a few meters from the front line in the Donbass is revealed in this work published by Black and White editions.
