KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed in the red at the end of 2021 trading close.
Citing data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) via RTI Business, the JCI weakened 19.19 points or 0.29% to a level of 6,581,482 at the close of trading on Thursday (30/12).
Throughout trading, the JCI moved from the range of 6,581,482 – 6,613,443.
Seven of the 11 sectors on the IDX put pressure on the JCI. The sectors that fell the most were the industrial sector 1.47%, the energy sector 1.46%, the transportation sector 1.01%, the financial sector 0.89%, the primary consumer goods sector 0.49%, the property and real estate sector 0. 11% and the infrastructure sector 0.08%.

The other four sectors that strengthened were the technology sector at 3.62%, the health sector at 0.68%, the raw goods sector at 0.36% and the non-primary consumer goods sector.
The total volume of stock trading on the IDX reached 26.27 billion with a total transaction value of Rp 10.27 trillion. There were 342 stocks that fell, 209 stocks that rose and 130 stocks that were stagnant.
Foreign investors noted net sell of IDR 294.2 billion in all markets. However, a number of these shares were also bought up by foreigners at the end of the year.
Foreigners recorded the largest net buy in shares of PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA) of Rp. 84.3 billion. SMMA shares closed down 0.21% to Rp 11,750 per share. The total trading volume of SMMA shares reached 12.8 million with a transaction value of Rp 150.9 billion.
Shares of PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK) is also widely collected by foreigners at Rp 2,280 per share. The total trading volume of EMTK shares reached 46.6 million with a transaction value of Rp 106.8 billion.

Then foreigners also bought up a lot of shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) of Rp. 13.7 billion. BBCA’s shares closed stagnant at Rp 7,300 per share. The total trading volume of BBCA shares reached 50 million with a transaction value of Rp 365.8 billion.
