This October 23 around 11:30 pm, the firefighters intervened to extinguish a fire which had started on the 15th floor of a building which has 16. The bodies of two women were found in the apartment. An investigation is underway to determine their identity and the circumstances of the tragedy.
The fire started on the 15th floor of a building in the city of Grand Parc, rue des frères Portmann in Bordeaux.
Fifty people had to be evacuated as a precaution, mainly those residing in the top two floors of the building.

The fire which had invaded the 70m² apartment was contained using a hose and the firefighters discovered two dead women on the spot. We do not know the reasons for their deaths or the cause of the fire.
