Corona outbreak despite 2G-Plus regulation after Christmas parties

A corona outbreak occurred after a Christmas party in a disco in the Stormarn district (Schlewsig-Holstein). Like the Stormarn Health Department towards the Lübeck newspaper reported, there were infections of guests with the Omikron variant in the Trittau “Fun Parc”. There the “traditional Christmas Eve party” took place on Christmas Eve and the “Christmas madness” one day later.

The responsible health department has ordered a quarantine for all party guests as a precaution. These are currently not even known, but will only be determined over time. “We get in touch with all sick people and ask them to inform their direct contact persons,” said Christiane Clobes, head of the district health office in Bad Oldesloe. “In addition, we are in discussion with the managing director of the Fun-Parc in order to be able to provide all visitors with direct information.” Regardless of this, all party guests should be placed in a 14-day quarantine as a precaution.

The exact number of people affected cannot yet be quantified. the Picture gallery of the organizer, however, indicates hundreds of guests. There was already one before Corona outbreak at the Christmas party in the “Joy” disco in Henstedt-Ulzburg (Segeberg district), as a result of which 820 guests have to be quarantined. In addition, several Omikron cases occurred in the “Rotes Kliff” club in Kampen on Sylt following a Christmas party. However, one to three unvaccinated people with a forged vaccination card would have gained access there.
