Yesterday evening Mona Keijzer was interviewed extensively for the first time after her resignation as State Secretary three months ago.

The conversation provides a shocking picture of decision-making within the government during this Corona crisis. In that decision-making no account was taken of the serious damage that was inflicted on all kinds of groups in society. And confirms much of what we have stated on this site since last spring.

On September 28 we already have wrote an article about her attitude, which resulted in her being fired from the cabinet. 2G was completely the “limit” for her.

Well worth watching/listening to.

The beginning of the interview

Mona Keijzer:

If you look at the Trimbos/RIVM report requested by the cabinet itself, which contains the recommendation of November 10th: create conditions that make things better. And what does the cabinet, supported by the majority of the House, do? The whole thing is locked again.

Of course I didn’t quit without reason. But this was one of the aspects where I thought Guys, what the hell are we doing here? It now appears that 51% of people with psychological complaints walk, and 25% regularly think about suicide.

It makes me angry, surprised and irritated that we have been scratching our heads together for a while and think if this is the way we should go together. And that was also one of the reasons for me to decide that I could no longer justify this to myself.
