The husband in Blora with the initials MUS (27) was desperate to kidnap and imprison his own wife. While being held captive, SNW was invited to move from the forest to the chicken coop.
The lawyer for the victim’s family, Dwi Purnomo, said that during his husband’s imprisonment, his client was intimidated and raped. The client’s hands and feet were tied so as not to escape.
“During the detention process, the victim was threatened with a sharp weapon and forced to have sexual intercourse,” said Purnomo when contacted detik.com, Thursday (30/12/2021).
“While sleeping, the victim’s legs and hands were also tied so as not to escape,” he continued.
Purnomo revealed that when the police found him, the condition of the victim was weak and dazed. According to him, the victim’s condition is now starting to improve.
The family also appreciates the arrest of the perpetrators of the kidnapping and the confinement of the victim. Moreover, the victim had disappeared without news since he was kidnapped on Thursday (23/12) and found on Saturday (25/12).
“On behalf of the family, we thank the police who have quickly succeeded in unraveling and finding this kidnapping case,” said Purnomo.
Previously, it was reported that MUS (27) was arrested by the police for being the mastermind behind the kidnapping of his own wife. He even hired the services of kidnappers for a fee of IDR 50 million.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Blora Police AKP Setiyanto revealed that MUS and his wife are currently in the process of divorcing in the Religious Courts (PA). However, MUS is said to be reluctant to divorce his wife.
“The motive is still love and love because they don’t want to be divorced. So husbands don’t want to be left behind, unfortunately,” said Setiyanto when contacted detik.com, Wednesday (29/12).
“The divorce process is still in PA, because I still love it. Seduced but the divorce process is still going on in PA. In the end, the husband was desperate to kidnap the wife,” he continued.
The persuasion that didn’t work for his wife made MUS finally think of kidnapping his wife. MUS eventually hired six people to kidnap the victim and promised a salary of Rp 50 million.
“During being held captive by her husband, (the victim) was invited to hide by moving from place to place from the Kayu Putih forest, then moving again to a chicken coop and moving again to a corn field hut in the Bojonegoro Regency area,” said Setiyanto.
While holding the victim, MUS continued to persuade the victim. He asked his wife not to divorce him with the consideration of having a baby.
“The term is persuaded to maintain domestic relations because they already have children in their marriage,” he said.
