Fortnite is unplayable due to major malfunction – update – Gaming – News

Just to give a different tone than all the childish reactions here, I am happy with this kind of reporting; let outtages of popular platforms be big news, so that we can hopefully come to the realization that placing a large part of our lives/society on a few platforms and then parked on one of a few server parks is quite a big risk where you want from.

Well, Fortnite specifically is of course far from ‘critical of society’, but it does appeal to a wider audience with this same issue, which otherwise only IT-minded people want to think about.

Edit: and yes, I hear you think ‘fine, but you don’t have to do that on Tweakers, right?! We are IT-minded!’ – valid argument, but as several comments here say; the playercounts don’t lie, and more “non-essential” news items are shared here. It’s mostly just hip to hate.
