Due to a problem with the appointment scheduling platform for COVID-19 screening, several unavailable time slots have been granted for the next few days in the Mauricie and Center-du-Québec regions.

The health authorities do not have the necessary staff to honor these erroneously distributed appointments and must therefore cancel them.
“Our teams will only carry out screening by nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT) of healthcare workers and people awaiting surgery outside the Mauricie and Center-du-Québec regions,” said the Mauricie-et-du-Center-du-Québec Integrated University Health and Social Services Center (CIUSSS MCQ).
Rapid home screening tests will be given to other people arriving on site, although the number of tests available is limited.
In the event of a positive result during a rapid test, it is not necessary to have the diagnosis confirmed at a screening center, with the exception of health workers, specified the CIUSSS de la Mauricie-et-du. -Centre-du-Quebec.
