The International Association for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) investigated that in the past year, men began resorting to plastic surgery for breast augmentation. Results of the Global Study on Aesthetic and Cosmetic Procedures are reported on website companies.
Last year, 22,568 breast augmentation surgeries were performed in men. In general, this is 1.4% of all similar transactions in the world. However, 2,171 men chose to have their breast implants removed.
In total, 10.1 million surgical and 14.4 million non-surgical procedures were performed last year. The most popular are breast augmentation, liposuction, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, and tummy tuck.
