On January 1, important tax changes will come into force that will affect employee salaries in 2022. In addition, there is an increase in the minimum wage and the minimum hourly wage on the mandate contract. What will be the gross and net earnings after the introduction of the Polish Order? The first important change that will affect the earnings of some Poles from January 1 is the increase in the minimum wage. In 2022 the minimum wage will be PLN 3010 gross, which is PLN 210 gross more than in the previous year. National lowest earners will not pay income tax.
After all contributions have been deducted, The minimum net salary in 2022 will amount to PLN 2,363.56 for people who are not participants of the PPK i PLN 2,303.36 for employees participating in the PPK (with a 2% contribution).
