This Is How Much DOGE The Dogecoin Founder Owns » Crypto Insiders

Billy Markus, also known as ‘Shibetoshi Nakamoto’, started a new crypto project in 2013 with his partner Jackson Palmer called Dogecoin (DOGE). It was originally intended purely as a joke, but after some time his project is starting to gain traction among crypto investors. Markus has announced on Twitter exactly how much DOGE he now owns. It turns out that the founder of the project isn’t exactly a whale is.

Shibetoshi Nakamoto

Although Markus is the founder of dogecoin, he currently has very little to do with the network. He is not actively involved in the development of the Dogecoin network, but occasionally speaks out about the state of affairs.

Markus makes this clear once again on Twitter. In his own words, he is nothing more than a member of the dogecoin community. However, he will continue to support the dogecoin community whenever he sees fit.

In addition, he lets you know how much DOGE he personally owns. It is often thought that as a founder he must own a huge amount of tokens, but nothing turns out to be less true. Markus owns about 220,000 DOGE. These tokens today have a market value of just $40,000.

While this is a decent amount for the average person, Markus with his DOGE investment does not have the power to significantly influence the price. Instead, he uses his co-founder status to lead the de dogecoin community.

Palmer Negative on Dogecoin

His partner in setting up dogecoin, Jackson Palmer, is a lot more negative about dogecoin and the rest of the world of cryptocurrencies. He detests that it brings out both the worst aspects of capitalist society.

According to Palmer crypto exists purely to make a small amount of rich even richer. In the case of dogecoin, there is also something to be said for this. The vast majority of DOGE tokens are owned by an extremely small group of investors.
