President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy put into effect the decision of the country’s NSDC to impose sanctions on three companies, which include opposition television channels, including on the media holding of People’s Deputy from OLEZ Taras Kozak. Corresponding decree # 684 appeared on the website of the head of state.

“Introduce the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated December 28, 2021” On the application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions), “the document says.

Thus, there are three companies on the sanctions list: Novosti media holding, Time Media and Teleprostir.

These companies own the TV channels ZIK, NewsOne, 112 Ukraine, First Independent and UkrLive.

Restrictive measures come into force from the date of publication of the decree and are valid for five years. The sanctions include, in particular, a ban on the use of radio frequencies, blocking of assets and the conduct of any activity in Ukraine.

We will remind, at the beginning of February, Vladimir Zelensky introduced sanctions against People’s Deputy Taras Kozak and TV channels… Later, TV channels 112 Ukraine, ZIK and NewsOne created a new company called Mediaholding Novosti to get around the sanctions imposed by the NSDC.

And on August 21, Zelensky put into effect the NSDC decision on sanctions against Igor Guzhva, Strana.ua website and related individuals and companies.
