December 31 at At 22.00, the New Year’s Concert of the Latvian National Theater will be presented to the audience of the TV3 channel, where popular theater actors will highlight the traditions of the anniversary of various world cultures. The actors will tell these traditions through their favorite songs – both old and new – giving the audience a special festive mood.

Today, everyone lives in an open society in which the traditions of other nations are integrated. In some families, the turn of the year is another holiday, while in others it is a mysterious, miraculous and traditional night that marks the end and beginning of a cycle at the same time. In this New Year’s concert, the actors of the Latvian National Theater will share their findings by interviewing friends and friends from all over the world and together they will offer the best and most suitable songs from the theater performances.
“Celebrating the New Year and celebrating the New Year is a ritual through which people get rid of the unpleasant and strive for the desired. As we have heard a lot this year that it is better in other parts of the world, we decided to explore the traditions of New Year’s Eve in other countries to see the good in others and in ourselves and try to take it over and become even better ourselves.
Since last year we were able to enjoy the theater less than we would like, we spend the year with songs from older and quite fresh, but most importantly – favorite theater performances, ”says the concert director Reinis Suhanovs.
