Covid-19 in Colombia deaths and cases today December 27, 2021 – Colombia

According to the report of the Ministry of Health of this Monday, December 27, in Colombia 3,281 new cases of covid-19 in the last hours. This, after 38,504 tests were processed (22,698 of PCR and 15,806 of antigens).

To date, 29,352,283 tests have been processed in the country. Thus, Colombia reaches 5’121.668 coronavirus cases confirmed since the pandemic began in March 2020.

On the other hand, the report shows 37 more deaths from the virus. With this update, the total death toll in Colombia rises to 129,798.

In the last 24 hours, in addition, 1,971 recovered patients were reported. Thus, there are already 4,961,099 patients who have overcome covid-19 in the country to date.

In total, there are 18,620 cases that remain active in Colombia.

Regarding the advance of National Vaccination Plan, the health authority reported that, with a cut-off at 11:59 pm on December 25, 63,721,446 doses of the vaccine against covid-19 have been applied in the country. Of that figure, 32,873,690 correspond to first dose; 22,597,778 at second dose; 2,989,623, booster doses, and 5,260,355 are from the single-dose vaccine.

In Colombia, 27,858,133 people already have the vaccination schedule full.
