PEER – In the residential care center Het Perrehof in the Belgian town of Peer, a faulty elevator has put a damper on the Christmas cheer. “My grandmother was unable to attend Christmas Eve because of this,” said a disappointed grandson. “It may have been our last Christmas together.”
