We want to emigrate to Switzerland as a couple soon. I have therefore been applying internally for a while, as my company has a branch in Solothurn. However, privately we tend to subscribe to Zurich and the Lake Constance area. So we are looking for a nice place to live and thought of the triangle Schaffhausen, Winterthur, Stein am Rhein. However, commuting to Solothurn from there will be difficult. Does anyone have a tip where to look if you want it to be quiet, but with an attractive landscape and good traffic connections? It just shouldn’t get too mountainous (are more of a northern German character and need a vision and before the fog in the Swiss Plateau, I’m a little jittery ..
