Filming a successful Christmas story is really not an easy task, as evidenced by the reactions to this year’s one, called How Not to Marry a Princess. What did the director say about working on it?
This was the second time in a row that Karel Janák had prepared the fairy tale About a Christmas Star a year earlier. It is clear from this that they trust him in the Kavčí Mountains.
According to our review, he also succeeded in this year’s fairy tale, although many comments from people in discussions on social networks are also relatively critical.
Janák v show Close meetings revealed that he is always tense. “I spend a lot of time on it, I do it for people and so of course I’m interested in how they take it,” he said.
“It’s such a unique project that you fill out with a lot of people on Christmas Eve. It’s like bringing them a decorated Christmas tree or frying carp. You’re simply influencing people’s Christmas, and the idea is binding,” the director added.
