HELSINKI, KOMPAS.TV – A Finnish man decided to blow up his Tesla car after he refused to pay $23,900 for a new battery.
Tuomas Katainen bought his Tesla car in 2013, and it felt like a dream to drive, the first 930 miles.
He felt the car was so perfect, until later experiencing coding problems.
After a month in the repair shop, the mechanic said he needed to replace the entire battery cell.

The replacement price reached 23,900 US dollars. This apparently annoyed him.
“So I’m going to come pick up Tesla. Now I’m going to blow up the whole car,” he said in a video produced by Finnish YouTuber Pommijatkat New York Post.
More than 2.8 million people watched the 8.5-minute long video episode of destroying the Tesla Katainen.
The crew prepared an explosive, which was about 33kg of dynamite attached to the high-tech sedan.
The crew even hired a helicopter to fly over the blast site and drop a crash test dummy with a portrait of Elon Musk on the face.
