According to the report of the Ministry of Health this Saturday, December 25, in Colombia 3,414 new cases of covid-19 were reported in the last hours. This, after 27,310 tests were processed (15,930 for PCR and 11,380 for antigens).
In the country, to date, 29,255,860 tests have been processed. Thus, Colombia has reached 5,121,668 confirmed coronavirus cases since the pandemic began, in March 2020.

On the other hand, the report shows 43 more deaths from the virus. With this update, the total death toll in Colombia rises to 29,729.
In the last 24 hours, in addition, 1,795 recovered patients were reported. Thus, there are already 4,957,334 patients who to date have overcome covid-19 in the country.
In total, there are 16,203 cases that remain active in Colombia.

Regarding the advance of National Vaccination Plan, the health authority reported that, with a cutoff at 11:59 pm this Thursday, December 23, in the country 63’638,880 doses of the vaccine against covid-19 have been applied. Of that figure, 32,857,080 correspond to the first dose; 22,561,211 at second dose; 2,965,324, booster doses, and 5,255,265 are from the single-dose vaccine.
In Colombia, 27,816,476 people already have the complete vaccination scheme.
