“So this perpetrator has stolen cellphones at the Willow Pod construction project on Jl Jombang Raya, Pondok Aren. There were 3 cellphones belonging to workers there that were stolen,” said AKBP Iman when contacted by detikcom, Saturday (12/25/2021).

Faith explained that at that time A and HS came to the project site with a Yamaha Mio M3 motorcycle bearing the number B-4340-TEZ. At that time, Actor A entered the project site, while his partner HS was waiting outside.

“After Brother A managed to steal the cellphone, then the two of them left. The perpetrator of HS was driving the motorcycle and the victim or perpetrator who died was behind,” he said.

According to Iman, at that time the victims of the theft did not pursue the two. At that time, the two perpetrators accelerated the motorbike until they arrived at Jl Palm Puri, Kampung Utan, Pondok Pucung Village, Pondok Aren District, South Tangerang.

“Arriving at the crime scene, they both fell down because they beat the ‘sleeping policeman’,” said Iman.

As a result of this incident, perpetrator A died at the scene. Meanwhile, his friend, HS, was injured.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for South Tangerang Police AKP Aldo said the Pondok Aren Police Criminal Investigation Unit had checked the scene and arrested the perpetrators. The police found 3 cell phones stolen by the two perpetrators.

“The cellphones have been returned to the victims,” ​​said Aldo.
