LIMAPAGI – The United States Space Agency (NASA) is preparing to launch the new James Webb space telescope to replace Hubble. The launch was carried out from the Guiana Space Center, Kourou, French Guiana.
NASA revealed, James Webb is equipped with various more sophisticated features so that it can reveal many things about the universe.

“The James Webb telescope has the most advanced technology. If the launch is successful, it will unlock the secrets of an extraordinary, even almost extraordinary, universe,” said Bill Nelson, NASA Administrator. Space, Saturday (12/25/2021).
James Webb is also touted as a telescope that can provide insight into who humans are, why they are here, and how it all evolved.
One of James Webb’s strengths that Hubble didn’t have was infrared light. This works through the help of an extra-large mirror that is six times the size of Hubble.
The infrared can detect light from very faint and distant stars and galaxies. Thus, James Webb’s infrared technology will help scientists research the origin of the universe.

In addition, James Webb is also tasked with identifying and studying alien planets, exoplanets, and determining the chemical composition of the atmosphere.
“Later we can determine whether there is a habitable atmosphere like ours orbiting around the sun, it will be very interesting to know,” said Nelson.
