The new Kia Sportage debuted on the Romanian market with both hybrid engines and plug-in hybrid and mild-hybrid. The hybrid propulsion system consists of a 1.6-liter T-GDI engine, a 44.2 kWh or 60 hp electric unit and a 1.49 kWh lithium-ion battery.
The total power generated by the new generation of the Korean SUV is 230 hp, available at 5,500 rpm. 350 Nm of torque is offered on a range of 1,500 to 4,500 rpm.
Regardless of the version chosen, buyers will have only one type of transmission available. It’s a dual-clutch automatic transmission with seven ratios.
Kia Sportage Hybrid, from 34,498 euros with VAT
In the range Kia Sportage Hybrid six versions are included. The most affordable is offered in the Style trim level with front-wheel drive.
It has a starting price of 34,498 euros including VAT. But with discounts through the Kia Remat Program and the 2021 Scrap Program, the purchase price of the standard version drops to 30,855 euros.
For this amount, customers will receive, among other things, 17-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights and daytime running lights. The package also includes a fabric upholstery, electric front / rear windows, leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, 12.3-inch center display, drive select mode, etc.
The top of the range Sportage Hybrid GT-Line 4 × 4 costs from 40,567 euros with VAT. With the Remat Kia and Rabla programs, the purchase price will decrease to 36,924 euros.
