SILENCE: The drinking water belonging to Skjoldastraumen waterworks is now fresh.
This is stated by Tysvær municipality on its website.
Earlier on Christmas Eve, the municipality was informed that all samples were negative and that no E. coli or coliform bacteria had been registered in the drinking water.
This means that for people in the Skjoldastraumen area there is no need to boil the water to be used as drinking water and for cooking.
An SMS has been sent to everyone with an address in the area, writes Tysvær municipality and at the same time apologizes for the inconvenience this has caused.
