Gadgetren – After successfully releasing a folding cellphone with the Mate X series, Huawei is now back again presenting its newest generation of folding cellphones called HUAWEI P50 Pocket.
Different from Mate X series, HUAWEI Pocket P50 carries a foldable form that can be folded vertically. The body is made of glass that displays a three-dimensional (3D) design. This foldable phone offers three color variants including black and white, as well as a special edition gold color.
This folding cellphone has been sold in China with prices starting at 8,988 Yuan or the equivalent of 20 million rupiah for 8GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, the 12 GB RAM capacity variant and 512 GB internal storage are sold for 10,988 Yuan or the equivalent of 24 million rupiah.
As reported by GSM Arena, HUAWEI P50 Pocket until this news is made it is not yet known whether it will be marketed globally and enter Indonesia. However, according to the monitoring of the Gadgetren team, this folding device has been displayed on the internet Huawei global official site.
Furthermore, the HUAWEI P50 Pocket charms with a 6.9-inch main screen that has a Full HD + resolution (2790 x 1188 pixels) and uses an OLED panel, 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and can display 1.07 billion colors.
Meanwhile, the cover screen on the front when the device is folded has a size of 1.04 inches which is also supported by the same panel as the main screen. However, the resolution offered is only 340 x 340 pixels, a refresh rate of 60Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 120Hz.
The kitchen is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Octa-Core chipset with an Adreno 660 GPU. Regarding photography, the HUAWEI Pocket P50 uses three rear cameras in the form of a 40 MP main lens with an f/1.8 aperture, a 13 MP wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture, and a spectrum lens. 32 MP with f/1.8 aperture, and one LED Flash.
The rear camera is equipped with features such as auto focus, zoom, digital, and can record video with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and 1080p slow motion video at 960fps.
Then on the front of the screen there is a camera with a resolution of 10.7 MP with an aperture of f/2.2 which is capable of recording video with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. This front camera also provides various features such as slow motion, portrait, panorama, time lapse, filters, stickers, timers, and much more.
The battery is 4,000mAh which is assisted by 40W fast charging. Other supporting features are fairly complete such as 4G LTE, 5G, two SIMs, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type C, NFC, and GPS.
