Three days before the start of the Under-20 World Hockey Championships, the organizers came with unpleasant news. The preparatory duel between the Czech Republic and Switzerland was canceled for the coronavirus.

He informed the account of the Canadian Hockey Federation on Twitter, adding that the duel in Red Deere will not take place for the “COVID-19 protocol”.
Originally, the preparatory meetings were to start playing on December 19, each team had to play two matches. However, they canceled them due to measures and planned new ones, each of them had to play one match before the start of the tournament. The Czech Republic and Switzerland will probably go to the championships without a single preparatory duel.
