Surprisingly, the Toyota ProBox is sold with three engines. The basis is an atmospheric four-cylinder with a volume of 1.3 liters, which has an output of 70 kW. If you want a more powerful drive, you can reach for a gasoline one-five with an output of 80 kW. However, its hybrid version should also be available. All models have a continuously variable automatic transmission and it is possible to choose between front or all-wheel drive.
The price is very interesting. The car on the Japanese market starts at just under 1.5 million yen, which is 291 thousand crowns. The top version will then cost two million, ie about 388 thousand crowns. However, it is necessary to remind that when buying a car, there is still a recycling fee in Japan, but it is a maximum of 3500 crowns for the model (up to 2.0 liters).
It’s a pity that the Toyota ProBox is not imported to the Czech Republic. It would certainly be popular with a number of pensioners or cottagers who just need a car to travel from point A to point B and nothing more. It would also be a very interesting and unexpected competition for dacies and used cars.
