Victory of the Thunder over Denver, 108-94, with the great Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, in triple-double with 27 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists. This is the first triple-double for an OKC player since Russell Westbrok in 2018-19. Darius Bazley added 17 points and 11 rebounds, Lu Dort 15 points. The Thunder, climbed to +23, won there its biggest victory of the season and remains on 5 victories in 8 games. Denver, with a Nikola Jokic limited to 13 points, failed to come back to less than 8 points in the final quarter.
In a duel of decimated teams, the Magic of Franz Wagner (25 points at 10/24) and Robin Lopez (10 points at 5/10, 5 rebounds, 11 assists) got the better of the Hawks, beaten for the 7th time in ‘straight at home despite Cam Reddish’s career record (34 points to 11/23, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks) and John Collins’ 28 points to 9/17 and 12 rebounds. Orlando, 46 points to 36 in the paint, dominated most of the game, taking a 20 point lead.
