Phase I trials in humans began in April 2021 on 72 people to determine the effectiveness of the SpFN Vaccine. Modjarrad explained, the regular repetition and spike of proteins in the corona virus in multifaceted nanoparticles can stimulate immunity. The SpFN vaccine, according to an article on the national security news site Defense One, uses a protein shaped like a soccer ball. Each of the 24 different molecular faces can carry a different protein derived from the unique variant of COVID-19. “This creates a broad immune response to the coronavirus,” Defense One wrote.
