Seven members of the same family were found dead at their home on Saturday after a report of relatives who had no more news in the United States.
They were getting ready to celebrate Christmas and to celebrate a wedding anniversary. But a couple, their three children and two other family members were found dead at their home on Saturday in Minnesota. It was relatives who made the terrible discovery after visiting their home, worried that they would not hear from them. “There is no sign of violence or break-in,” police said. “The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Crime Scene team has been contacted for assistance in dealing with the scene. At present, there is no known threat to the public, ”authorities said.
For the moment, the cause of these deaths has not been revealed but the police say that none of the bodies showed signs of trauma. Blood samples have been sent to a laboratory for analysis, police said in a statement. On Monday, the names of the victims were released: Belin Hernandez, 37; Marleny Pinto, 34 years old; Breylin Hernandez, 16 years old; Mike Hernandez, 7; Marbely Hernandez, 5 years old; Eldor Hernandez Castillo, 32; and Mariela Guzman Pinto, 19. The family moved from Honduras to Minnesota in 2013. Wilfredo Pinto, Marleny’s brother, lived across town. “My sister Marleny was a very special, very kind sister,” he told KVLY. “The little ones liked to play outside in the snow. They liked to ride bikes and skateboards ”. “Last Wednesday, I was wrapping Christmas presents for the children…”, added Wilfredo Pinto’s wife.
Pastor Eric Bravo Mejia told KVLY he was part of the group, along with several members of the church, who visited the site to check on the family. “I went upstairs and walked into the room and the whole family was together, they were there, dead. And I went to another room and there was the dead niece. And the uncle. Dead too. All dead. It was a moment that I still can’t understand. It’s something that you can’t explain, the impact it has, to see them all there ”.
