The United States has accused Russia of using “false and inciting rhetoric” over tensions with Europe over Ukraine.
US State Department spokesman Ned Price blamed Moscow for the current situation.
Contrary to what the Russian Defense Minister said, Russia and its representatives are to blame for the escalation of tensions, not Ukraine or the United States, Price wrote on social media.
We call on Russia to stop using false, inflammatory rhetoric and take meaningful steps to de-escalate tensions to provide a positive atmosphere for discussions.

The spokesman called on the Russian side to abandon false and inciting rhetoric and focus its efforts on easing tensions and creating a positive atmosphere.
In this way, the American authorities responded to yesterday’s accusations of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who blamed Washington for the deteriorating relations between Russia and Europe.
Yesterday, the Russian head of state warned that the country was ready to take any “military-technical means” if the West took hostility towards Russia, and again insisted on serious talks with NATO on security in the region.
