The Almassora City Council already has a draft of the local plan for domestic and assimilable waste, which includes 38 shares distributed in six blocks. These are the proposals that the external company hired by the council has prepared and that the municipal technicians together with the government team will assess. The final document will include the opinion of the opposition and the citizen proposals provided before it is finally raised to full capacity.
The objectives of the plan include promoting circular economy locally and adopt more sustainable consumption habits, activate a model for the collection of domestic and assimilable waste that is agreed and adapted to the reality of Almassora, design the evaluation of the new waste collection system to analyze its evolution, promote public awareness or reward those who do proper waste management.
