Former Head of Kebayoran Baru Police Sue Police Chief and Kapolda to the Administrative Court, what is the reason?

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Former Kebayoran Baru Police Chief Benny Alamsyah sued the National Police Chief and Metro Jaya Police Chief to the Jakarta State Administrative Court (PTUN). The lawsuit was filed in relation to the decision by the Police to fire Benny for stumbling over a drug case.

Quoted from the official website of the Jakarta Administrative Court, Benny’s lawsuit was registered with number 286/G/2021/PTUN.JKT on Monday (20/12/2021).

In his lawsuit, Benny asked the PTUN panel of judges to grant all of his claims.

First, to declare null and void the Decree of the Chief of the Police of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 1029/VII/2021, dated July 28, 2021, concerning the Disrespectful Dismissal of the Plaintiff from the Indonesian National Police Service on behalf of Benny Alamsyah.

Second, to order the National Police Chief and the Metro Jaya Police Chief to revoke the Decree of the Chief of the Indonesian National Police Number: 1029/VII/2021, dated July 28, 2021, concerning the Inappropriate Dismissal of the Plaintiff from the Indonesian National Police Service on behalf of Benny Alamsyah.

Third, ordering the National Police Chief to issue a New State Administrative Decree concerning Reactivation on behalf of the Plaintiff.

Fourth, ordering the National Police Chief and Metro Jaya Police Chief to rehabilitate the good name or restore the dignity of the plaintiff as a member of the Indonesian National Police.

Fifth, establishing a decision can be implemented immediately despite legal efforts either cassation, review or opposition to the decision in this matter.

Fired for Drug Case

Recently, Benny Alamsyah was fired as a police officer after undergoing a legal process for violating the code of ethics.
