The North American Basketball Federation has announced Steve Kerr as its next selector. The Golden State Warriors coach takes over from Greg Popovich, current helmsman for the Sant Antonio Spurs.
Former assistant of the North American team, Steve Kerr will now be responsible for leading the team in the next Olympic cycle and aiming for the conquests of the 2023 World Cup and the gold medal at the 2024 Olympic Games in France.
Erik Spoelstra (Miami Heat coach), Monty Williams (Phoenix Suns) and Mark Few (University of Gonzaga) will be assistants for Kerr.
