“The French health regulator Haute Autorite de Sante (HAS) has approved the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 5-11,” it said.
According to HAS representatives, the vaccine has shown “high efficacy among children.”
“HAS invites all parents who plan to do this to vaccinate their children between the ages of 5 and 11,” the regulator said.
Note that last week France began vaccination of children aged 5-11 years with chronic diseases.
