The Yankees de New York and the Dominican receiver Rodolfo Duran reached a Minor League agreement for the MLB 2021.
Rodolfo Duran, 5’9 tall, 181 pounds and 23 years old, born in Santo Domingo, has been in the Minor League with the Philaldephia Phillies since 2015. On November 7 of the current year, he chose to go to MLB free agency.
A month and several days later the Yankees contacted him and made use of his services.
Minor League Numbers
In his lifetime, he’s hitting 244. With 333 homers, 112 RBIs, 49 doubles, 243 hits and 680 OPS in 307 games in the minors, he played Triple-A for the first time in his career in 2021.
And as for fielding, he has married about 111 runners and 176 have gotten away with it, in some 294 games behind the plate he accumulates 992 fielding, 20 errors, 19 double plays, 61 past balls and 289 assists in 2,286 innings.
Currently, the Yankees have several receivers in the minor leagues, among whom are a little known are Rob Brantley, Austin Wells and now Rodolfo Durant. In the Major Leagues are Gary Sánchez and Kyle Higashioka.
